This is me and my sister. We are in Nozawa, Japan skiing. Skiing is very fun, plus good  exercise for you . Every single year my sisters, my mums, and I also go to Japan to ski. It is very fun, tough, and exhausting but, still with all the pain it is good for me. What I mean by this is in life bad people will say mean things abut you. You need to let their mean talks go, forget about them. If you don't you'll have them forever and be unconfident. In PE we had our basketball unit. I am going to answer some questions below.          One thing that I did well was dribbling the ball hard. I did it well because it stayed at a steady pace. One thing i could work on is the direction. In the video I went to the side of the hoop. During the game I did dribble the ball hard when I had it. I know because I kept a steady pace.

In RLA, we are currently having a poetry unit. We had to write ten poems with a reflection for each of them. I like poetry, it really gives out what you are feeling but, thorough words. It makes me feel safe to say something. I will share some down below. Those are my ten poems with a reflection the most. I hope you liked them. 

In art class we had to make a name design. We had a lot of steps toward the final one. It was very fun and interesting. This is the first step. We had to draw four designs on a sheet of paper in our journals. You wanted it to look creative and cool. Once you are done, you go to the art teacher and pick one for your final. I choose the last one. I thought it was interesting. Next step is to draw colors. We had to do paint, water color, color pencil, and oil pastille. I choose some colors to use, this was to help decide what colors to use and test them. This was very convenient so than I could pick one to use for the final. I picked oil pastille and color pencil. We redraw it on a light table.  You choose one to use as your rough draft. What you do on your rough draft is try to see what colors for the finale and more. I did a lot as you can see. In science class we had a fishing derby. We are learning about electromagnetic. For this derby we all were aiming pick up the most fish. In fishing you have pole, in ours we did too. Though ours were a bit different, it was electromagnetic fishing pole. For this to work we had to make a complete path for the fishing pole to work. For a complete path you need a volt (batteries), a resistor (nail), and a path (wires). Another thing to include is the switch. Now, my partner and I were thinking about some ideas. The first one, we thought it over and said, "This probably won't work out." Then we thought of a second one, we tried it and it worked. We definitely made some tweaks but, eventually it worked out alright. What we did was we had a fishing pole, than a battery holder that had wires connected to it. Then we attached some of the wire to the battery holder then to the nail. Though, one of the ends were not connected to the battery holder, it is connected a paper clip. T...

In science class we made a game board. When you put the correct answer the light goes. One question, how does it work, how does the it light up when it is the correct answer and why? Well, I will tell you how. First you have to make a game board. Second to make the it light up you need a complete circuit . A complete circuit needs to have a voltage source, a path, and a resistor. In the picture it has batteries, the batteries are the voltage source . The voltage source is the measure of the push of electrons. Also, it has a light bulb. The light buble is the resistor. The resistor is in the middle of an insulator and he conductor. It also has tin foil which is a path. The path is for electrons to flow. I have all of this so, I have a complete path. I also have a current electricity . Current electricity is the flow of electrons thorough conductive material. With the tin foil I have tape on it. The tape is the insulator . In P.E. class we have been doing long jump and recently a KM run. There are many things that are good, yet still some more to improve on. These I will be talking about today.  Long Jump: In my long jump I had really good movements I have three really good things, but there is one thing I need to work on.  One of the things that  I am good at is when I take off that leg stays down then goes together. The other thing that I thought was good was I brought my arms up. Another on that I did well was a kept my body up right. One things that I need to work on is reaching those arms at the end and reaching out those legs for the landing. I could stretch a little more and reach more to help. Otherwise I thought it was pretty good.  Km: In my KM run I thought a lot of my movements were good. In art class this project we had to take 5 photos or more. The photos were shadow, texture, atypical angel, reflection, and rule of thirds.  This photo is my rule of thirds. I will be explaining how the process went for this picture. First what I thought was I need a rule of thirds photo that is cool but, clear. I was in the courtyard where the basketball hoops were. I thought that the fountain the tress and a little background on the side was perfect. It was like a perfect fit to do for the rule of thirds because I thought it all was together and worked greatly. So I took a photo of it. I knew though I needed to edit it. First what I did was I cropped it so that the fountain was in the rule of thirds. I wanted to be in the rule of thirds because it was big and it looked like it would fit. So the fountain fitted right into the middle and the big tree fit in and so did the other tree. Today we presented to Mrs. Perdana's third grade class. Yes, we are finally done. Though learning about it was fun and helping out felt like we were doing something incredibly helpful. The timing was impeccable because as we arrived they were just finishing up learning about water. They learned a lot and they also laughed a lot as well. They were good, but I think we should've choose a little older group because they sort of stopped listening and then started again. Though they learned it and enjoyed it, and that is what we were trying to do. The aid also took some photos of us while we were presenting. All that's left to do is presenting our presentation, finishing and presenting our poster.

This week is spring break for us, but we still have some work to finish. I was put to the job to make rice krispys. This is because Mina is going to Vietnam, and Laney was going to go Borneo, yet she couldn't go, though it was late notice.   As you might know with the other blog posts about ( Procrastination is BAD ) me and my friends had some homework. These facts are about raising awareness to see how water is so useful and if we don't make a difference than bad things can happen. We are going to put those on the rice krispys, but first we had to make them.  I was very busy this week, but on  the second sunday I made them. These are the steps to making the rice krispys.  First, we got rice krispys and measured 10 cups and put them into a bowl. Then we put six tablespoons of butter into a pot, we melted the butter on the stove. After it melted I put about one and 3/4 of marshmallows into the butter on the stove. I mixed it with ...

Over the weekend my friend and I went over to my friends house. We worked on our presentation, thinking back that our reason is to raise awareness to younger children to help. We also gave answers out to make more progress in our presentation. Though one of our failures were that when we made the iMovie to put on our presentation, we could stop laughing or saying something wrong. So, it sort of took a long time but, we finally got it. Everybody wanted it to be perfect!       Well, all this time when we were doing our skit, but first we needed to do it infront of our science teacher, Mrs. Hill. Mrs. Hill really liked in and thought it was awesome, so that means we can do it infront of the teacher in 3rd grade.       What we needed to work on and maybe one of our failures was that we needed to practice our lines. I thought that I did a pretty good job because I could memorize all of my lines. I think that Mina did a good job because she read off a paper, but maybe she could memorize her lines, but that is okay. Laney, I think she got almost all of her lines just one mix up, but that is just how human beings are.  We also got some costumes for everybody. Mina is the Sudan girl so she is wearing a scarf. Laney she is wearing a big bow with a tutu because she is the student. Hazel Ann is going to wear a long skirt with some glasses to be a teacher.  

My friend gave us, my group in my water project, some homework. We want to make some  rice krispys so, what my homework was to write some facts and put them on the  rice krispys to raise awareness. At first I thought, seriously she is giving us homework. Then I thought that if I procrastinate then I'll have to do it later so, I did it in the moment. My three facts can raise awareness to the 3rd graders to help save water.  

               In this week my friends and I decided what do. We decided on a skit, talking about how to save water. At first it was a little hard to decide what we were thinking about what to do. We first wanted to do a carnival, but then one of our team members wanted to write an article instead. At first we thought, let's do a picture book, but no of us wanted to do that. So, then we decided to do a skit, which all of us wanted to do. This week we chose what we wanted to do, also we chose some parts, and now we have finished writing the skit, and most likely praticing our lines the next week.  Here is one of the scene that we wrote for the skit: Hazel Ann: Southern Sudan 2015 Mina: Dear God, protect my innocent family, we need clean water, Sudan is so… I don’t know.   Name of microorganism- This microorganism is a Tubiflex Worm. Tubiflex Worm is a multicellular organism. It moves by curling at first and than the front leads and the back follows. It pulsates which means it moves forward and backwards quickly. Tubiflex Worm is also known as a sewage and sludge worm. They eat decaying animals and insects that are already dead. Tubiflex Worms live in dirty places, the also eat very dirty foods, like feces. What were your initial expectations about taking Digital Expressions? What I really wanted to take out of this experience was to learn how to make more effects and how iMovie really worked.  What were you expecting to learn or do? I was expecting to learn how to do green screen, cloning and learning more things in video, like stop-motion.   Did you have an opportunity to learn or use those skills this trimester? Yes I did. I learned how to do the stop-motion, I also learned how to do green screen. I don’t believe we did cloning, but I figured it out. Overall, what was your opinion about the podcasting project? Podcasting was very fun because I had an idea how you do it. It was like on the radio like Carol Zimmer came to see us and I got to learn how the process was in the podcasting business.
