Relevance of Demographics

In the future 2050, the population will hit 9.5 billion, but will this have a conflict in the future making it better? Or worse?                                                     In Social Studies we have learned about the population pyramid, some vocabulary, and how things are changing in the years on. Down below is some things also what I learned and things that will happen.  Some things that I have learned is how to draw the population pyramid. Also, I know that if you have more children rapid growth, less children zero, slow, and negative growth. I also learned what fertility rate is, cohort is, demographic, and population.                         For an example singers try to go t...

"What's the motor that moves the plates?"

In science today we were talking about what moves the plates? A hint is that what moves the plates gives a force which made the continents move out, which is why its not Pangea anymore.                The earth has a magnetic force which helps it stay warm but, not firing up. This makes the sun hit but, not go into the earth.  One thing that I think that moves the plates in the magnetic force.  I think this because as the world is moving right now it is at north but, as the world spins the magnetic force changes from north to south. So, this could make the plates move at the bottom of the ocean. Instead of going up it goes sideways. By this magnectic fore it can also cause the continents to move, this is the force to make them move. Maybe as the magnetic force changes from north to south the plants will come back to Pangea and when it goes back again (to north) maybe the continents will ...

PE - Tennis

Image
Are you in a forward facing ready position? No, that is one thing I can work on. I was just standing side ways instead of infront which I can improve on. When ball comes, do you move  by dropping your racquet foot back? Yes. I do have my foot backwards and the racket going downwards. This is one thing that helps me swing the ball with more force. Does your wrist stay firm? I think it does but, I would like it to be a bit. If you see in the video of me it still is a little loose which might be a conflict while playing tennis. Do you start stroke low. I do start it low with the racket. I think I could do a little higher because it is too low that when the ball comes it will take to long do start all down low. So, maybe a little higher. Then swing up and over the ball to impart topspin to the ball? Yes, I do swing the racket over my shoulder. This helps the ball topspin which makes it a better swing. I think that I am really doing well is always having th...

Investigation 1 - Mathematical Reflections

In the past classes we have done in math we have been learning about angles and polygons. For this blog I will be answering the questions down below about angles and polygons. 1. What are the common properties of ALL polygons? All polygons have: More than three sides All have closed sides All have straight lines None of the criss-cross (no intersecting) These are some common things that all polygons have in common weather its irregular polygon (meaning that it doesn't have equal sides or equal angles) or it's regular (meaning its sides are equal and the angles are equal).  2. a) What does the measure in degrees tell you about an angle? The gap between the initial side and the terminal side.  The degree of the angle tells you if the angle is acute angle (less than 90 degrees), right angle (90 degrees), obtuse angle (more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees), straight angle (180 d...
