Compost making a difference

Image
1. Explain the problem The problem is that their isn't enough soil or fertilize for the famers. 2. How are they composting? They are composting by using urine and feces. They divide the urine and the feces into two tanks. Once the feces tank is full, they take it out of the tank they put it with worms and woodchips to keep it dry. After three months the compost is used to fertilize soil. For urine, since urine is sterile it does not need to have the process. With the diluted urine you can put it straight in the farm or garden.  3. What problems has it solved? Now, farmer's have enough soil and to create this soil using urine and feces is a great idea because it won't run out.  4. Gravity

How do the objects represent gravity? When the objects orbit, they come closer to the center (sun) which represents the gravitational pull. What would the heavier and the lighter objects represent in our universe? The lighter objects would be our planets, and the heavier objects would be our stars.  Does the size matter? No, mass matter though. This is because the more mass the greater the gravitational pull.  What about the mass? Yes, because the  more mass the greater the gravitational pull.  Write a sentence to summarize the law of gravity? The greater the mass, the greater the gravitational pull.

Question: Conclusion on the relationship between the distance of the planet from the sun and its orbit         Answer: The the further away the planet is from the sun, the greater the distance.  Question: Conclusion on why your weight changes on each planet.       Answer: The larger the mass (planet) the larger greater the gravity (you).  Question: Conclusion on why your age changes.               Answer: Depends on how long the day is on each planet. That is why my age changes.

Overview of Poverty

Image
Throughout this poverty unit we have learned definitions, see people live in poverty, and how to help. Poverty is very unique, it has many obstacles to get out of as well. You can't get out of the poverty cycle without outside intervention. What is a poverty cycle? In the poverty cycle it has, racism, parent loosing jobs, war, natural disasters, and etc. That is why you can't get out of it without outside intervention. A lot of people think, well people in poverty just get a job, or rent a ski shop, your poor because you do nothing and your lazy. Well, that is not true. They work so hard, trying to get a job first, and then trying to get enough money to support their families and them. So, what would help them is giving to a charity to help people in poverty. In other words don't just stand around watching help them.       In class we played a game called, Spent. The mission is to get through a month living in absolute o...
