Getting our Skit Done

      Well, all this time when we were doing our skit, but first we needed to do it infront of our science teacher, Mrs. Hill. Mrs. Hill really liked in and thought it was awesome, so that means we can do it infront of the teacher in 3rd grade. 

     What we needed to work on and maybe one of our failures was that we needed to practice our lines. I thought that I did a pretty good job because I could memorize all of my lines. I think that Mina did a good job because she read off a paper, but maybe she could memorize her lines, but that is okay. Laney, I think she got almost all of her lines just one mix up, but that is just how human beings are. 

We also got some costumes for everybody. Mina is the Sudan girl so she is wearing a scarf. Laney she is wearing a big bow with a tutu because she is the student. Hazel Ann is going to wear a long skirt with some glasses to be a teacher.

In science class we made a game board. When you put the correct answer the light goes. One question, how does it work, how does the it light up when it is the correct answer and why? Well, I will tell you how. First you have to make a game board. Second to make the it light up you need a complete circuit . A complete circuit needs to have a voltage source, a path, and a resistor. In the picture it has batteries, the batteries are the voltage source . The voltage source is the measure of the push of electrons. Also, it has a light bulb. The light buble is the resistor. Service Learning Semester 2

     Today we read the The Lion and the Mouse  Aesop's fables. The theme of this story was friendship. Friendship can do anything because if you have friendship you can count on people that they are with you and count on them to be there. In The Lion and the Mouse  since the Lion didn't eat the mouse the mouse got away and when the Lion got trap and the mouse wasn't eaten the mouse saved the Lion. Friendship because if he ate the mouse the mouse could've never saved the Lion but it was friendship that saved the day.    I think that this connects to the Christalite Methodist home because the residents in the Methodist home and when we come it's a big thing for them because they don''t have children anymore.
