Manoj's Devices

In science class, I saw a video about how Manoj (The maker of 5 hour energy drink) makes devices to save the world. He thought he was making so much money off of the 5 hour energy drink, so he uses that money to make devices to help the world. Like good money, getting electricity, and more.

Did you know that 3 billion people in the world have no electricity? One device of Manoj that I like is, Free Electric. It is pollution free which is great. It helps saves the world if their is no pollution. Your keeping a pound of CO2 out of the air.  Also, limitless energy. Human mechanical energy is amazing, so he used that to get energy. Manoj himself says, that it is one of the devices he loves the most, and thinks it is the coolest.
He has invented a hyper bicycle. They call it, Free Electric. Basically, how it works is you pedal the bike for an hour, and get energy for the whole day. Which is great in places that don't have electricity and is in poverty. They get electricity, and no pollution in their country. In addition, while pedalling for an hour, it can give them exercise which they need. While their exercising, they get electricity. It's so simple, with an effect with it.

So, this is one device that I thought was really cool. What I love the most is that it is giving no pollution in the air. This will help the world.

Game Board

Image
In science class we made a game board. When you put the correct answer the light goes. One question, how does it work, how does the it light up when it is the correct answer and why? Well, I will tell you how. First you have to make a game board. Second to make the it light up you need a complete circuit . A complete circuit needs to have a voltage source, a path, and a resistor. In the picture it has batteries, the batteries are the voltage source . The voltage source is the measure of the push of electrons. Also, it has a light bulb. The light buble is the resistor. The resistor is in the middle of an insulator and he conductor. It also has tin foil which is a path. The path is for electrons to flow. I have all of this so, I have a complete path. I also have a current electricity . Current electricity is the flow of electrons thorough conductive material. With the tin foil I have tape on it. The tape is the insulator . The insulator so then it won't go into the other tin foi...

Service Learning Semester 2

Today we read the The Lion and the Mouse  Aesop's fables. The theme of this story was friendship. Friendship can do anything because if you have friendship you can count on people that they are with you and count on them to be there. In The Lion and the Mouse  since the Lion didn't eat the mouse the mouse got away and when the Lion got trap and the mouse wasn't eaten the mouse saved the Lion. Friendship because if he ate the mouse the mouse could've never saved the Lion but it was friendship that saved the day.    I think that this connects to the Christalite Methodist home because the residents in the Methodist home and when we come it's a big thing for them because they don''t have children anymore. So when we make crafts or something I think it is friendship and just sitting side by side to each other.    Our class goals for our next visit to the Methodist home could me: Try to show our time more meaningful To try to ...
